A Fruitful Collaboration

With Nako, Host of Durian FM! She is sweet and pretty!

When Enuca wanted a radio station partner, Durian FM was an obvious choice. Fun, fresh and funky, Durian FM is a making wave especially among Malaysian listeners.

The courtship began with both Enuca and Durian FM getting to know each other better. Enucans paid a visit to Durian FM in mid-August to mingle and record a radio advertisement. Enucans may be the queens of beauty, but when it comes to live recording, palpitations and nervousness could not escape many of the first timers. But we breezed through the session, thanks to helpful Durian FM DJs encouraging us constantly. The script was improved with some guidance to make it more interesting and presentable. It was a day of trials and errors, but in all, a meaningful and memorable day. 

Currently, the Lift Me Up Serum and High Definition Makeup Series fill the airwaves of Durian FM.

The great hospitality shown by the cool people of Durian FM was reciprocated on the Enucan side with a thrilling tour. The team from Durian FM honoured us with their presence at the Enuca White House.

What’s Up, Make Up?

We’re girls, hear us roar!

It was a girly Saturday on 15^th October 2011 when girl power descended at The Enuca White House for a thrilling half day of make up, fun and learning. Led by Enuca’s perky and charismatic in-house trainers, participants had the chance to hear beauty tips, learn hands-on, try out new techniques and go home with premium Enuca products.

The day started with an introduction to Enuca, the company that is currently creating a huge buzz among hip, happening urban warriors in Malaysia. Participants also got to know what Enucalogy is all about. With the philosophy of ‘adding heart to an art’, Enucalogy is all about the customer. Using the best ingredients, the trusted products of Enuca undergo the most stringent research and manufacturing excellence. Above all, it’s all about making products with a heart.

The much-touted Enulift Massage was also demonstrated. As delicate fingers and palms caress the face in a certain motion, the result is instantaneously a fresher and lifted face.

This was followed by a hands-on Day Natural make up session. Jars and bottles were explored, brushes uncapped, and faces became experiments. Techniques on how to apply day make up is delicate, as it’s all about getting the right effect with the right balance. Guided by professional experts in make- up, participants learned the subtle nuances of day make-up.

 

Thicker or thinner? Wondering while applying.

The basics of make-up were revisited as well. Brush techniques were refreshed, eye shadows applied with steady hands and even steadier eye lids, eye liners and mascara traced with the precision of a laser beam, lips were smacked with shiny lip gloss, and blushers powdered with elegance.

Night make-up is all about glamour, and participants had the chance to explore excitingly new techniques. Instant models were created with just a few minutes of quick make-up application. The result was simply astounding.

The memorable day ended with a group photo and certificate presentation. As with any other Enuca events, this personal make-up workshop was fun, fresh and engaging. Best of all, participants were amazed by the before and after pictures showing how just a little Enuca can make a big difference.

So on one lazy Saturday afternoon when a handful of bloggers turned up at The Enuca White House, they anticipated something very exciting. And they were not one bit disappointed.

As they entered the showroom at The Enuca White House, their eyes immediately darted to the rows and rows bright, colourful bottles of Enuca products amidst a backdrop of milky pearl white. This is the sacred ground where beauty is made perfect.

Over and over, the same question about Enuca and its business model was being asked: Why does a company as big as Enuca have only one retail showroom? The answer is not that mind-boggling: Enuca is confident with its product that it relies solely on its users to promote it among themselves.

Gasps of thrill was nothing compared to the excited faces of the bloggers when they had the chance to try first-hand what it is like to use an Enuca product. Product demonstration was the first in line, and everyone had the chance to play make-up. The Enulift massage technique, promising a tauter and brighter face, was demonstrated as well.

Cosmetic preview and flash make–up were a great chance to know Enuca intimately. Bottles were twisted, jars were pried open, tubes were opened, and the wonders of its contents appreciated like fine wine. Amidst oohs and aahs, real life demonstrations of our cosmetic products were shown by our make up artists. Like a painter working on a masterpiece, the bloggers were the canvass and art took its form.
